Hey friend! My name is Jenna, but in the Petz Community, I've always gone by Mutt. I was first introduced to the Petz series while on a playdate (!!!) in 1998, when a friend showed off her new copy of Dogz 3. I was immediately hooked and eagerly spent my entire savings on my own copy the next day. I played Petz 3, 4, and 5 daily through high school, eventually slowing and stopping my gameplay as college approached. I was thrilled to recently (June 2025) discover that I could play Petz from my laptop, and even more excited to discover that the Petz Community is reviving - or perhaps never died. It's great to be back! I play exclusively. Other Petz preferences include Great Dane mixes (including hounds), sleek Dali-dogs, selectively breeding for size, cats with puffy tails, strange little dogs, and all things cute. My site was born Sunflower Kennelz in 1998 and was built initially on the drag-and-drop platform Homestead. I taught myself HTML so that my site could have frames, which was a Very Big Deal. I rapid-cycled through names and layouts as I tried to find myself, finally settling on Stunt in the wee-morning hours one stifling day in the summer of 1999. The site is named after the Barenaked Ladies album "Stunt," which I had been listening to at the time. Some of my early content even survives on the Wayback Machine!
